Why did you join Red Ventures?
I began working for Red Ventures about five years ago and loved the entrepreneurial environment and fun, dynamic culture. As part of the business strategy, my group was sold to another company. It only took six months before I made the decision to come back. I rejoined Red Ventures primarily due to my trust in the vision, ability and personal nature of the partners. I wanted to be part of something I knew would be successful and Red Ventures provided that level of confidence that I would be part of something great.

Why do you like working at Red Ventures?
I like working at Red Ventures because, as a technologist, we are not afraid to using technology and exploring and adapting to new technologies as they come along. I also like the fact that we are constantly trying new ideas and businesses which keeps every day fresh and dynamic.

What is the most interesting project you have worked on to date at Red Ventures?
The most interesting in concept has been the fact that we entered into the gaming market and have been challenged to figure out how to penetrate this market. From a technical aspect, the most interesting has been thinking through how to build out a very robust, highly available call center infrastructure to support our transaction-based businesses.

What part of your personal development while at Red Ventures are you most proud of?
I would be most proud of my interpersonal and interviewing communication skills which have been developed and honed. The ability to interview job candidates is a crucial skill and contributes to us having retained high quality, highly motivated employees.

When is the last time you laughed out loud - really laughed - here at the office?
I probably laugh out loud about everyday at Red Ventures. I believe it is very important that in a hard working, fast moving environment that there is a kind of lubricant to keep things running smoothly and that would be humor. Red Ventures has a history of the office environment having people laughing, joking and in general, having a continuous stream of comic relief. This is indicative of how we tend to bond together professionally and easily assimilate new employees at Red Ventures.
